On March 18, 2023, I had the opportunity to be a speaker at the preparation forum for the Satria Data 2023 competition, in the infographic category. I was given about 2 hours to present the basic ideas of creating good infographics.

During the session, I explained what infographics are, different types of infographics, and the key elements needed to make them clear and interesting. I also shared some basic design tips and simple examples to help students understand better. In addition, I talked about common mistakes to avoid when making infographics.

The material I used was based on a guide called “How to Make an Infographic - A Visual Guide for Beginners” by Visme. I adapted the content to make it easier for students to follow and useful for their competition preparation.

To support students further, I also organized the material into a simple module that can be used for self-learning, especially for those preparing for the infographic competition.
